Begin your trip in Lima, also known as the ‘City of Kings’, visit the colonial cities of Arequipa and Cuzco, explore the vast Colca Canyon and the incredible ruins at Machu Picchu and enjoy a cruise across Lake Titicaca. Complete your journey in La Paz, Bolivia, visiting the fascinating markets and the Valley of the Moon.

Enjoy an overnight cruise on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, and visit Sun Island, birthplace of the Inca Empire.
You can watch local craftsmen ply their trade at Pisac Market, where you can easily spend the entire day in the colourful market.
Soar over the mysterious Nazca Lines where hundreds of stylised figures have been carved into the Nazca Desert in southern Peru.

Day 1
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2
Discover the charming city of Lima, also known as the ‘City of Kings’. Start in the colonial centre and see the Main Square of Lima, where the Government Palace sits, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the City Hall before continuing on to the 16th century Santo Domingo Convent. From here visit the modern district of San Isidro and see Huaca Huallamarca, a Pre-Incan adobe pyramid. The day ends with a visit to Miraflores with its incredible view of the Pacific Ocean. (B)
Day 3
Drive down along the coast to Pisco and board a Cessna aircraft for a remarkable experience. Enjoy a flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. The Nazca Lines are now a World Heritage Site and are located in the Nazca Desert. The hundreds of individual figures range in complexity from simple lines to stylised hummingbirds, spiders, monkeys, fish, sharks, orcas, and lizards. Enjoy lunch before you are transferred to Ica for your overnight coach journey to Arequipa. (B)(L)
Day 4
This morning arrive in Arequipa. In the afternoon, explore the city and its famous historic downtown, also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Santa Catalina Convent, a grand 16th century religious complex and sanctuary plus two traditional districts of the city, Cayma and Yanahuara. (B)
Day 5
Depart early through the Aguada Blanca National Reserve passing majestic volcanoes and hot springs. (B)(L)(D)
Day 6
Today you will return to Arequipa. En-route travel to the Cruz del Condor site for spectacular views of the canyon and the condor’s flight. (B)(L)
Day 7
Fly to Cuzco. This afternoon enjoy Cuzco’s amazing colonial centre, an inheritance from its Andean and Hispanic past as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit two of the city’s famous landmarks: Korikancha, or “Temple of the Sun”, and the Cathedral, home to finely carved wooden art pieces and impressive altars. Continue to Sacsayhuaman, an Incan fort constructed from menhirs that guarded the Imperial city. There are three other important archaeological sites not far at all from the city, Qenko, Tambomachay, and Puca Pucara, that you will visit. (B)
Day 8
Venture into the Sacred Valley of the Incas, named because of its incredible value to the development of the Incan culture. It is divided by the Urubamba River, and protected by towering mountains, all above 5000 metres. Along the way, stop for a classic view of the Urubamba River, snaking its way through the valley, before continuing on to Pisac, one of the many hospitable towns scattered about the valley. There will be some free time to shop in its colourful market, to watch as local craftsmen ply their trade, and to interact with the surroundings. Finally, you will arrive at the lovely town of Ollantaytambo, a place that still maintains its original Incan architecture. (B)(L)
Day 9
Enjoy a spectacular train journey through stunning mountain scenery to Aguas Calientes before travelling up the mountain by bus to the magnificent Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided visit of the citadel before heading back to Cuzco. (B)(L)
Day 10
Cross the Altiplano to Puno on a comfortable coach and enjoy the stunning Andes mountain scenery. (B)(L)
Day 11
Travel by road to the shores of Lake Titicaca. Board your catamaran and sail to Sun Island, the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire, and home to over 180 Incan ruins. Spend time exploring. This evening spend the night aboard the catamaran. (B)(L)(D)
Day 12
Continue sailing across Lake Titicaca. En-route visit the Inti Wata Cultural Complex which includes a unique sailing experience aboard a traditional Titicaca vessel. Disembark the catamaran and travel overland to La Paz. (B)(L)
Day 13
Explore La Paz and visit the Witch Doctor’s Market and take a ride on the world’s longest and highest cable car for awesome views of the city. Conclude your exploration with a visit to the Valley of the Moon. (B)
Day 14
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
