Stop at Talkeetna on the way to Denali National Park, home to Mt. McKinley. Try to spot the 'Big Five'; Caribou, Dall sheep, moose, Grizzly Bears and wolves.

Spend the night at Maclaren Lodge in the Alaska Range. With spectacular views this rustic lodge provides the ideal setting for an authentic Alaskan experience.
At the centre of a mass of mountains, glaciers and wilderness, the quaint settlement of McCarthy is your base. Wrangell-St Elias National Park is the most glaciated region in North America.

Explore the seaside town of Valdez, a return to civilisation after the mountainous isolation of McCarthy. Opt for a sea kayaking excursion or a salmon or halibut fishing charter.

Cross Prince WIlliam Sound by ferry. The views of the mountains, bays, fjords and glaciers are unforgettable. Enjoy a wildlife viewing cruise and take a spectacular walk to the Harding Icefield.
